Addendum to Sampling and Analysis Plan Specific to Delivery Order DO5068

Section 1 - Introduction

This document is an addendum that modifies the existing SAP for the Closure of SWMUs at Camp Stanley Storage Activity (CSSA) in Boerne, Texas. The same sampling and analysis procedures used for the SWMU closures is also applicable to the Areas of Concern (AOCs) RCRA Facility Investigations (RFIs).

This addendum describes investigations and closure activities to be carried out at twelve AOCs (35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 50, 65, 66), and investigations/closure activities at one additional medium priority SWMU (B-9). The locations of these sites are shown in Figure 12.1 of the DO5068 work plan addendum. A brief description of each of the sites addressed in this addendum is provided in Table 1:

This addendum to the SAP has been prepared to comply with all appropriate regulatory requirements of 30 TAC �335 for clean closure under Risk Reduction Standard Number 1. This plan describes the sampling procedures that will be implemented during investigation activities to satisfy regulatory requirements.
