Precipitation data collected from the meteorological station at Well 16 between October 5, 1998 and March 19, 2001 is shown in Figure 2, along with water level data collected during the same period by the Well 16 transducer.
As noted earlier, groundwater levels rose 53.19 feet on average between December 11, 2000 and March 19, 2001.� During this period, there were forty-seven rainfall events with a total precipitation of 10.13 inches.� During the previous quarter when groundwater levels increased 122.99 feet, there were forty-one rainfall events with a total precipitation of 14.48 inches.
