Section 5 - Investigation Derived Waste
Investigation-derived waste (IDW) may include soil stockpiles, decontamination fluids (water and other fluids), and disposable personal protective equipment. Parsons will utilize portable temporary storage containers to manage IDW.
5.1 - Temporary Storage Containers
Multiple 20- to 30-yard roll-off boxes will be employed to contain the IDW during the removal action. The containers will be located on-site at AOC-55. The storage containers are to be used for the on-site storage of IDW until it can be transported off-site to the appropriate disposal facility.
