Sand and shot investigation activities commenced and completed. The pipe was diverted, and shot and lead-contaminated sand was excavated and stockpiled. Approximately 100 cubic yards of soils were excavated. The trench was backfilled with clean sand. Four confirmatory soil samples were collected. Results are currently in question due to ITS Laboratory practices.

Approximately 100 cubic yards of soil were successfully treated by solidification with Portland cement; to non-hazardous Class 2 levels. Soils were transported and disposed in accordance to applicable regulations.
