Section 3 - Facility Drainage [40 CFR 112.7(e)(1)]
40 CFR 112.7(e) contains guidelines on facility drainage and procedures which are recommended to control the movement of oil within the facility drainage system. Facility drainage patterns are discussed in Section 2.2, with facility locations and site drainage illustrated on Figure 2.1. This section addresses other issues covered by this portion of the regulations.
3.1 - Drainage from Diked Areas [40 CFR 112.7(e)(1)(i)]
Not applicable - there are no diked storage areas at CSSA.
3.2 - Drain Valves for Diked Areas [40 CFR 112.7(e)(1)(ii)]
Not applicable - there are no diked storage areas at CSSA.
3.3 - Drainage from Undiked Areas [40 CFR 112.7(e)(1)(iii)]
CSSA does not use lagoons or catchment basins to catch drainage from undiked areas. Site drainage and locations of ponds are illustrated in Figure 2.1.
3.4 - Diversion from In-Plant Ditches [40 CFR 112.7(e)(1)(iv)]
CSSA does not have a centralized ditch drainage system. Drainage from specific areas is illustrated in Figure 2.1.
3.5 - Treatment of Drainage Waters [40 CFR 112.7(e)(1)(v)]
Not applicable - CSSA does not have a treatment system for drainage waters.
