Background

Site Description: AOC-69 is a former ammunition burn and munitions disposal area with two defined burn pits. The 8- to 10-acre site is located west of H&I Section, north of D-24 Road, east of West Outer Rd., and approximately 500 feet east of Ralph Fair Rd. Exact dates of use are unknown but it was potentially operational in the 1960's and 70's. Contaminants of concern are VOCs, metals, and explosive residue.
