Site boundaries were surveyed on March 6. Magnetometer survey was also conducted. Anomaly caused by a large concentration of metal at the surface.

Order 126

Two 20-pound fragment bombs were located and flagged on March 7. The geophysical survey showed an anomaly in the corner of the site, but the contours are in low increments/set to high sensitivity. The area shows no signs of disturbance and there is a greater abundance of metal in the area. No indication of a disposal area seen.

September

One soil boring (SB1) mistakenly drilled at AOC 44 instead of B-9, and samples collected on September 5. These samples were only analyzed for copper based on results of a preliminary comparison to background levels. Analytical results are currently in question due to ITS Laboratory practices. When resampling is conducted, samples will be collected from B-9.
